Victoria records 222 new coronavirus cases, 17 deaths – The Age
Victoria has recorded 222 new cases of coronavirus and 17 more deaths in the past day, but authorities fear not enough people with mild symptoms are being tested.

There are 665 Victorians in hospital, including 45 in intensive care, 32 of whom are on ventilators.
Victoria’s Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said he hoped to see new case numbers drop to the 100s next week.
“We shouldn’t hang everything on a single day’s result but overall the trend is good,” he said.
