Young Aussies ‘our biggest virus spreaders’ – Bay 93.9
A new ad campaign warning young Australians that they are not immune from COVID-19 is hitting the nation’s television screens, as Barwon Health continues to track a cluster affecting young people in the Corio area.
The commercial focuses on how easily the virus can be picked up from seemingly-well friends, and taken home to infect other more vulnerable family members such as parents.Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton, says people in the 20-29 age group are among the state’s biggest spreaders of coronavirus.
Barwon Health is currently tracking a cluster that has affected at least 17 young people in the Corio area.
