Back in 1999 a video game was released that kinda changed the world.
Selling 9 million copies when it first came out, that game was, of course, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Technically groundbreaking and a whole lot of fun, it kicked off a major reinvigoration of skating subculture inspiring untold thousands to get on a board and providing a source of income for pop punk bands for years to come.
