A Fremantle defender has been hit with a five-game ban after he was caught drink driving by police in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Fremantles Jason Carter has been suspended for five matches after the defender was caught drink driving in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Its the second time the Fremantle Next Generation Academy product has been in hot water in 2020, after he was busted partying during the States strict COVID-19 laws in April.
In a statement, the Dockers confirmed Carter was stopped by police in Spearwood around 1am on Sunday.
