Tokyo to the Blues: Win-win as Dalton strikes cross-code deal – Sydney Morning Herald
Chloe Dalton – and Australian sport – will have the best of both worlds after the Rio gold medalist agreed to stick with rugby through to Tokyo 2021.
The women’s and men’s sevens main competition is the World Sevens Series, which was one of the first casualties of the pandemic and looks at long odds to to re-start this year. But Dalton said Manenti was keeping his athletes interested.
“I’ve really enjoyed being back and I was unsure of how it would be before I came back, just with the challenge of getting back into the contact and tackle work,” Dalton said.
