Barring a minor miracle, we more or less have our top eight. The Tigers sit ninth, Manly occupy tenth and it would take something special for either side to crack the finals given the former’s inconsistency and the latter’s injury woes.
At the top end we have Penrith, Melbourne and Parramatta fighting for the minor premiership and this weeks clash with the Storm could easily see the Eels fall out of the race.
Just below that, though, is where it gets interesting.
