Essendon coach John Worsfold says Joe Daniher is tracking well towards making his return to the AFL after niggling injuries have kept him out of the game for more than a year.
The Bombers squad have been hit hard by injuries in the past few weeks, including David Zaharakis to a season-ending quad injury.
However, Worsfold was hopeful the cavalry was returning for the 11th-placed club over the coming weeks, in what would be a huge boost for the club.
