Mystic remains on Memsie path after unplaced Lawrence run
Adam Trinder said he is eager to put Mystic Journey’s unplaced return to racing behind him and plan for the mare to peak in the group 1 Memsie Stakes at Caulfield in two weeks.
Mystic Journey endured a wide run off an indifferent speed in last Saturday’s group 2 Lawrence Stakes and Trinder said that the race was run at a much different tempo to what had been expected.
