Shielding for the most vulnerable people in Wales is being officially “paused” from Sunday, August 16, affecting around 130,000 people in Wales.
It was announced in July that the measure to protect the elderly and vulnerable in Wales would be paused if there was a continuing decline in coronavirus cases.
Announcing the move last month, Wales’ chief medical officer Dr Frank Atherton said these groups will be able to go out shopping, return to work and school after Sunday, August 16.
