Betty Broderick real life: Dirty John season two tells the story of Betty and Dan Broderick. Here are the real life faces behind the TV show.
Amanda Peet (The Whole Nine Yards, Something’s Gotta Give) plays Elisabeth ‘Betty’ Anne Broderick, who in 1989, shot and killed her ex-husband Dan and his second wife Linda Kolkena.
In 1991, she was convicted of two counts of second-degree murder and later sentenced to 32 years to life in prison.
These days, you’ll find her at the California Institute for Women.
She will be eligible for parole in January 2032.
