Swans youngster suspended for season, club fined for COVID-19 breach – The Age
Elijah Taylor has been banned for the rest of the AFL season with his club fined $50,000 – half of which is suspended – for breaching COVID-19 protocols.

Though Taylor’s partner had completed her self-quarantine after arriving from NSW 14 days earlier she was not authorised to enter the resort under AFL protocols and the WA quarantine directions for the Swans.
The $25,000 fine will be included in the club’s soft cap for 2021 at a time when the league is looking to reduce football department spend in the wake of the economic downturn caused by the pandemic.
