‘I wanted to show how much he means to me’: Dragons skipper hails Mary – Sydney Morning Herald
Dragons skipper Cameron McInnes paid an emotional tribute to departing coach Paul McGregor on Friday night.

McInnes has a lot of time for caretaker coach and potential long-term successor Dean Young, but McInnes made it clear he felt the Dragons were losing a good man in McGregor.
“He’s not much of a gifts man, but I wanted to show Mary how much he means to me as a person,” McInnes said. “He gave me my first jersey at the club and I wanted him to have my last jersey with him as my coach. I’m glad it meant something to him because it meant a lot to me.
