Young woman struck by lightning and killed on Sunshine Coast sporting oval
A young woman has died after being struck by lightning at a Sunshine Coast sporting oval in Queensland.
Emergency services were called out to the Cooroy Sporting Complex on Mary River Rd following reports a woman had been struck by lightning during a storm just before 5.15pm on Thursday.
