Queensland man Za’id Abdus Samad sentenced over 2018 terror charges, weeks after murder conviction
A convicted murderer has been given a six-year sentence for terrorism offences where he planned to travel to Syria from Australia to carry out ‘extremist’ violence, a court has heard.
28-year-old Za’id Adbus Samad has been in custody since 2018 when he was charged with murdering his uncle.
