How cutting diplomatic ties with Tehran has affected Iranian community in Australia
The first thought that ran through Bijan Kardouni’s mind when he heard the news that Iran was behind at least two antisemitic attacks on Australian soil was disappointment.
But that quickly turned into something else: fear.
Mr Kardouni fled anti-gay persecution in Iran exactly eight years ago.
