WESTERN Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge has labelled trade rumours surrounding Lachie Hunter a “made-up story”.

Journalist Caroline Wilson raised the possibility of Brisbane having interest in the gun midfielder on the Nine Network on Wednesday night, but Beveridge says Hunter will remain at the club next season.
