Patient zero in Victoria’s coronavirus outbreak may not have been a security guard at one of the hotel quarantine facilities after all.

Patient zero of Victorias coronavirus outbreak was not a hotel quarantine security guard but rather a duty manager, according to reports.
The Age newspaper claims leaked emails show the Rydges Hotel employee came down with a fever on May 25 before testing positive.

It is presumed he caught the infection off of a returned traveller.
However, the report says theres no suggestion of improper behaviour.
