The elite Sydney school has confirmed a pupil was diagnosed with COVID-19 late on Thursday night.
A Sydney school will close on Friday after a student was diagnosed with coronavirus.
St Vincents College in Potts Point confirmed late on Thursday night one of its pupils had tested positive to COVID-19.
In a statement, the school said the diagnosis was brought to its attention at 9.20pm.
From the outset of the pandemic, the College has taken every precaution in line with Government policy to minimize risk, it said.
