Daniel Ricciardo plans to leave his mark on Renault — literally — before departing at season’s end to join McLaren.
Details of a bet between the Australian and Renault team boss Cyril Abiteboul have emerged, with Riciardo confirming the terms on Thursday ahead of this weekends Spanish Grand Prix.
The deal is if Ricciardo can achieve the teams first podium finish since they returned as a constructor in 2016, Abiteboul must get a tattoo of Ricciardos choosing although the Frenchman gets to decide the size and location.
