Sarah Gigante wins stage seven of Giro d’Italia Donne

Australian Sarah Gigante has won her second stage of this year’s Giro d’Italia Donne, winning the seventh queen stage from Fermignano to the summit finish of Monte Nerone.

It is the first time an Australian has won two stages at the Giro since 1998, when Anna Millward won three stages.
