Woman fatally stabbed on Cooloola Cove in Queensland

A woman has been fatally stabbed on a residential street in Queensland.

She was stabbed on Creekside Esp in Cooloola Cove — approximately 40 minutes east of Gympie — about 7.15pm on Sunday.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was treated for a stab wound but died at the scene.
