Rescue crew hikes Larapinta Trail section five to help injured hiker
Search and rescue teams have been deployed to section five of the Larapinta trail, 55 kilometres west of Alice Springs.
A lone 46-year-old female hiker activated her personal locator beacon (PLB) at about 3pm on Wednesday near Hugh Gorge.
