Detection dogs sniff out South Australia’s elusive Murray-Darling carpet python

Dogs have been trained to find a variety of things — drugs, cancer, biosecurity risks and, of course, treats.

But now, specialised working dogs and their trainers have been put to the test to find the elusive Murray-Darling carpet python in South Australia’s Riverland region.
