Coronavirus: Mount Albert Grammar School student positive for Covid-19 – Stuff.co.nz
Dr Ashley Bloomfield says the case is a close contact of the family who tested positive for the virus earlier this week.
A student of Aucklands Mount Albert Grammar School has tested positive for coronavirus.
The news follows four family members testing positive for Covid-19 in the community and the country moving alert levels.
On Wednesday, Auckland was placed in alert level 3 while the rest of the country was put in alert level 2.
Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS) said about 100 close contacts of the student have been identified at the school, and were advised to be tested.
