Agricultural show organisers say red tape is putting volunteer-run events at risk

Andrew Hain remembers when his local agricultural show had so many volunteers there was a waiting list to join the committee.

“There’d be 40 or 50 members [and] you’d have to wait two or three years to be able to get a position on the show,” the Cooma show patron said.
