Hundreds of shoppers have been put on high alert for even the mildest signs of COVID-19.

One of Western Sydneys shopping centres has been added to a list of growing venues associated with coronavirus cases.
NSW Health on Wednesday said Westfield Parramatta had been exposed to a positive case.
Eighteen cases were diagnosed in the 24-hour reporting period to 8pm on Tuesday, including two without a known source.
According to NSW Health, the infectious person visited the shopping centre between 4pm and 5.30pm on August 5 and between 12pm and 1pm on August 8.
