Cyclone survivors leave Moreton Bay as homeless camping becomes illegal
Homeless cyclone survivors are preparing to pour into Brisbane, as the City of Moreton Bay council threatens fines to “illegal campers” who stay behind.
From today, all homeless camping on City of Moreton Bay land is a criminal offence punishable with a maximum fine of $8,065.
