Man shot by police after alleged chainsaw threats in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast

A man in his 30s allegedly armed with a chainsaw was shot by police in Burleigh Heads, on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

He was allegedly armed and making threats at a home on Gardenia Gr about 7.30pm on Saturday when police were called to the residence.
