Defence force confirm practice torpedo found on Gold Coast’s Main Beach
A torpedo found washed ashore on a Gold Coast beach has been identified as a practice device used by the Australian Defence Force.
Locals were shocked to find the maritime weapon washed up on Main Beach about 5.45am on Thursday.
