Man rescued from Gold Coast unit fire and rushed to hospital
A man has been rescued from a blaze inside a unit on the Gold Coast.
Fire broke out in the unit on the Gold Coast Hwy at Burleigh Heads just after 5am on Thursday.
Firefighters rescued the man, aged in his 50s, from the unit before battling the flames, Queensland Fire Department said.
