Man charged with murder after woman found dead beside Alice Springs’ Todd River

Northern Territory police have charged a 49-year-old man with murder following the death of his partner in Alice Springs on Monday.

The 51-year-old woman was found unresponsive beside the Todd River after emergency services were called to the scene at about 12.10am.
