Widespread heatwave conditions continue for Queensland, as state braces for storms

A widespread heatwave is sweeping across the majority of Queensland with the Bureau of Meteorology warning there will be little reprieve before the end of the week.
From Tuesday, a three-day, low-intensity heatwave warning has been issued for much of the state, except the far west and Cape York.
