Euthanasia bill passes lower house of NSW Parliament
Euthanasia is one step closer to becoming legal in NSW.
Independent MP Alex Greenwich’s voluntary assisted dying bill passed the lower house of Parliament 52 votes to 32 this afternoon.
MPs debated amendments to the proposed legislation until late last night, and again this morning.
