West Coast forward Josh Kennedy has thrown his support behind the umpires following the controversial holding-the-ball free kick awarded to Jack Darling on Sunday.
Carltons Sam Petrevski-Seton was wrapped up by Darling and pinged for holding the ball, despite not having prior opportunity, with fans labelling it the worst umpiring decision of the season.
But speaking on radio this morning, the veteran spearhead was quick to jump to the umpires defence.
