‘I feel unsafe’: Most LGBTIQ+ Victorians don’t trust police, new report finds – SBS
One transgender woman said she felt “unsafe and uncomfortable” when interacting with police and LGBTIQ+ liaison officers.

The study also showed two in three (66.6 per cent) believed LGBTIQ+ communities were treated unfairly by the police, while four in five didnt feel safe (80 per cent) when there was a large police presence at community events.
