Man shot in vehicle in heart of Brisbane, shooter on the run

A man is undergoing surgery in hospital after he was shot in a vehicle on the street in the inner-Brisbane suburb of Spring Hill early on Monday.

Emergency services were called just after 2am to Joan Jacobi Lane just behind the 7-Eleven convenience store.
