Collingwood president Eddie McGuire wants the Brownlow Medal brought forward and held in Brisbane to ensure the maximum number of players can attend.
The AFLs night of nights is usually held in Melbourne on the Monday before the grand final, but the city wont be hosting any more games this season let alone award ceremonies.
All 10 Victorian clubs and both Sydney teams are based out of Queensland for the remainder of the season due to Melbournes worrying number of coronavirus cases.
