Severe thunderstorms, hail, heavy bursts of rain possible for SEQ

South-east Queensland could cop heavy bursts of rain and hail during severe thunderstorms, as parts of the state recorded the highest rainfall totals for the month.

The Bureau of Meteorology on Monday forecast that much of Queensland would see storms across the week.
