Aurora australis captured by residents in Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia – 7NEWS
The spectacular aurora australis lit up the skies in Tasmania, Victoria and apparently even as far away as Perth last night.
Tasmanians and Victorians have been sharing incredible photos after an aurora australis lit up the night sky on Thursday.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) issued an aurora alert about 7.30pm, telling people to keep an eye out for the natural light show.
