AFL commentator Tony Jones has made a bold suggestion to solve the issue of players copping horrid online abuse such as the death threats GWS star Callan Ward received this weekend. But the solution is at odds with clubs and players.
Ward revealed on Saturday that he received death threats following a contentious late free kick that helped seal his side’s four-point win over Essendon on Friday night.
