Peter Scolari, US actor known for Bosom Buddies, Newhart and Girls, dies of cancer aged 66

Peter Scolari, a versatile character actor whose television roles included a yuppie producer on Newhart and a gay father on Girls and who starred alongside longtime friend Tom Hanks in Bosom Buddies, has died at age 66.
