The first trailer has been released for “Small Axe,” the upcoming five-film anthology series helmed entirely by “Widows,” “Shame” and “12 Years a Slave” director Steve McQueen.
Running from the late 1960s to the mid 1980s, each film in the series tells different stories involving Londons West Indian community, whose lives have been shaped by their own force of will despite rampant racism and discrimination.
