Australia Post deliveries at risk: ‘Suez canal down a drainpipe’ – The Australian Financial Review
Everything from urgent drug deliveries from Chemist Warehouse to notebooks and pens from Officeworks to laptops from JB Hi-Fi and deliveries from Dan Murphy’s are at risk from Melbourne’s unprecedented new lockdown rules.

“Your big customers like your Kogans, your Officeworks, your Cotton Ons, all Melbourne based, and 23,000 small businesses came online in the COVID quarter – April, May, June,” she said.
Ms Holgate said Australia Post learnt about the changes when the Victorian government published the list of permitted worksites on the Department website.
“We deliver medicine to home for pharmacies including Chemist Warehouse, it’s like a “Suez Canal coming down a drainpipe.”
