Formula One rocked by bombshell penalty for Racing Point over imitating Mercedes – Fox Sports
Formula One team Racing Point have been handed a 15-point deduction and fined heavily after being found guilty of copying a part of Mercedes’ title-winning car from 2019.
Racing Point legally powered by a Mercedes engine and using some of that teams parts including the cars suspension has been widely termed the pink Mercedes over its obvious similarity to the car design of the dominant Silver Arrows from last season.
