Racing’s first lady Gai Waterhouse has nominated Golden Slipper winner Farnan for the race that continues to elude her – the Cox Plate.
Farnan, co-trained by Adrian Bott, is among some of last season’s elite two-year-old crop nominated for a potential Cox Plate tilt with others including Blue Diamond winner Tagaloa and multiple Group I winner King’s Legacy and Magic Millions champion Away Game.
