AMP may face criminal charges by Christmas – The Australian Financial Review
ASIC deputy chair Daniel Crennan reveals more than five current investigations into AMP, including “a number” with the Director of Public Prosections.

It wouldnt be within our practice to identify with any precision how many investigations we have ongoing into any particular entity, Mr Crennan said.
An AMP spokesman said the company would “respond diligently” to any of ASIC’s concerns. ASIC handles its own civil cases, but refers cases to the CDPP when an investigation involves potential criminal matters.
