Man taken to hospital after being bitten by a shark in the Whitsundays
A man has been bitten by a shark on the leg while swimming about 45 minutes offshore in north Queensland.
Paramedics said the man was climbing back onto a boat after swimming at Hook Passage in the Whitsundays on Friday night, when he was bitten on the left leg.
