Crows midfielder Lachlan Sholl is set to make his AFL debut in Wednesday nights clash with Melbourne at Adelaide Oval.
Sholl was sitting alongside captain Rory Sloane inside Matthew Nicks office on Tuesday afternoon when Adelaides senior coach delivered the good news.
Speaking to AFC Media immediately after calling his parents, the ecstatic 20-year-old was still pinching himself.
