It was snowing on the horses at Ballarat – Racenet

Chilly early morning starts are part and parcel of the life of trainers and jockeys, but a few of them saw something new at Ballarat on Tuesday morning.
With the temperature gauge refusing to raise above a blisteringly cold 0 degrees, it started to snow on the track.
It wasn’t quite time to get the skis and snowboards out, but nevertheless the white stuff was falling from the sky.
