Marcelo Montoya was denied a try in the first half when the bunker wasn’t asked for a decision. The NRL says it was wrong.
“They have to get these decisions right and use the system that is available to them and the tools that are available to them to try to get them right,” Annesley said. “Given his time all over he would probably do it a bit differently.
“In some ways you’ve got to give the referee some kudos for having the courage of his conviction, but if you’re going to do that you’ve got to come up with the right decision. In this case it wasn’t the right decision.
